 Floorworld Kingston has been servicing the Southern Region of Tasmania since March 2001. It is locally owned and operated and is open six days a week Monday to Saturday.
Owned and managed by Michael Adkins and business partner Tamieka Groombridge, Floorworld Kingston offers a 'measure and quotation' service for its clients in most regional areas including Bruny Island.
Floorworld Kingston is very fortunate to have the skills and experience of its Sales/Technical Advisor Peter Picone who is a popular member of the floor covering industry.
Recently, Floorworld Kingston welcomed Lorne McAuley to their team as Warehouse Supervisor. Lorne has been in the industry for over twenty years as a qualified domestic and commercial floor covering installer as well as co-managing a flooring supplies distribution oulet. Michael and Tamieka together with Peter and Lorne, have over sixty years combined experience in the floor covering industry and are more than happy to advise you on any of your floor covering requirements.
The Floorworld group was formed just over 12 years ago to utilise the economies of scale of a buying and marketing group. Thirty-one independently owned retailers now trade under the Floorworld umbrella in Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. The group offers its customers an extensive and innovative range of floor coverings in carpets, wood and laminate and cushion flooring at competitive prices.
The Floorworld endorsed suppliers programme provides our customers an avenue to access products from the major manufacturers and suppliers in the floor covering industry throughout Australia.
Established brands such as Redbook and Minster in nylon carpets and Invicta, Crown, Feltex and Victoria Carpets in the wool ranges are available through Floorworld.
Floorworld has a full range of timber and laminate floating floors from Premium Floors, HDM, Balterio and Gracewood. Household names such as Pegulan, Polyflor, Gerflor, Armstrong and Signature are readily available in Floorworld's cushion flooring area.
The group has developed its own range of products under the Crown and Monarch labels and is the exclusive distributor of At Homes Concepts range of carpets and Gracewood wood veneer flooring in Tasmania and Victoria.
